For those who want the range and access of our hut-to-hut walking holidays but prefer less rustic accommodation, our village-to-village walking holidays combine a sense of adventure with all the charms and amenities of traditional villages. You’ll hike point-to-point on a route that showcases different trails and locations each day, and arrive each night to the comforts and delights of a new hotel, where your luggage will be there waiting for you.

These trips are crafted with all the care and expertise that defines Collett’s’ reputation, and come with seamless logistical support around transfers, planning and excess baggage. You’ll be provided with a comprehavsive Walk Pack containing all of the information you’ll need for seamless self-navigation, with many of our tours also able to access your routes through the Ride with GPS app,  giving you digital navigation through your device throughout. For more experienced walkers, these village-to-village trips feature more challenging terrain, and longer days. These walking holidays traverse towns and villages in some of the best walking spots in Europe, each day you’ll take on a route between 10km-20km per day. Compared to our easy/moderate village-to-village, these holidays feature a mix of longer average days, higher ascent/descents and more challenging terrain.

Looking for something with even more adventure? Our hut-to-hut walking holidays also feature point-to-point walking, but here you’ll be walking high up in the Dolomite mountains of Italy, and staying in traditional mountain rifigios, which feature stunning views and fantastic traditional food.
