What to Expect on our Guided Walking Holidays
You’ll meet your hiking companions for the week at the designated arrival airport or train station. From there, you’ll then be taken directly to your hotel, where you can settle in before your guide will give you a short welcome briefing.
We offer two types of guided walking holidays: centre-based or village-to-village. On our centre-based holidays, your hotel for the week will become your home-from-home, making it easier to relax and unwind at the end of each day’s walking. On our village-to-village guided walking holidays, your walks will be led by our guides and you’ll stay at a different hotel each night of the holiday. Whilst you will be walking with your guide from place-to-place, your luggage will be dropped off at your next hotel and be waiting for you each afternoon.
All you need to worry about is bringing your equipment with you, as everything else will be taken care of, leaving you to enjoy a fantastic week of walking, with a host of different locations available for you to choose from.
Our Guides
All of our guides are English speaking, and know their respective locations like the back of their hands. Their job is to take all of the navigational duties out of the holiday, allowing you to enjoy the scenery with other like minded walkers. Their knowledge will ensure that you learn all about the landscape you are exploring too, so you’ll come back having learned a lot more about your chosen location.
Each of our guides are highly qualified, and have an abundance of experience of guiding groups of walkers on the magnificent trails across a range of diverse landscapes. So whether you are keen to explore the Pyrenees, get acquainted with Andalucia, or take on landscapes closer to home in the UK, our guides are on hand to help make your holiday the experience of a lifetime.
All of our guides are also first aid trained, so if you are unlucky enough to have a mishap on the mountains, rest assured that your guide will be on hand to assist.
