Location & Views – Sporthotel Panorama perches spectacularly above Corvara on a natural balcony. As its name suggests, the views from the hotel are vast and sensational. It’s a visual feast, featuring Sassongher (2665m), the Sella Massif (3152m) in all its glory and indeed the entire top end of the Alta Badia. It takes 10 – 15 minutes to walk from this awesome location down to the village and the 2 gondolas that take you to higher trailheads. Within 20 minutes you can be strolling in extensive flower-rich pastures that flank the village amidst breathtaking scenery.

The Hotel – This is an exquisite alpine hotel, combining a warm and relaxed atmosphere with a sense of occasion and self-indulgence. Whilst it is a gorgeous combination of elegance and style, it oozes traditional Tyrolean hospitality and an unassuming atmosphere that makes you feel so welcome and ‘at home.’ You can book a range of rooms: Standard, Comfort, Panoramic or Panorama Suite. The top end rooms will take your breath away. The Health Spa is extensive, a labyrinth of whirlpools, saunas, steam baths, massage and beauty treatments, relaxation areas and a large pool. There is also a fitness suite.

Whether you are fuelling up at breakfast or winding down at dinner, everything is exceptional. And yet, in spite of its excellence and elegance, the dining room has an understated, easy-going atmosphere that guarantees relaxation and reflects the warm hospitality that is the hallmark of this sublime hotel.

The Team – Sport Hotel Panorama is hosted by our good friends, Michael & Maria Costamoling. Their parents, Albert & Waldtraud, built the hotel in 1950 and are still involved. Day to day the hotel effortlessly provides a uniquely special experience thanks to Michael & Maria and their highly motivated team of people. In addition, our Walk Advisors are regular visitors, hosting an Office Hour in the bar at least 3 times a week, so that you can exploit their local knowledge and glean information on anything walks-related and more.
