Location & Views – Hotel Col Alto is one of Corvara’s landmarks. It effectively welcomes people who descend into the village from the Val Gardena. Its views to Sassongher and the startling flanks of the Sella can absorb you for hours. It is 5 – 10 minutes on foot to the heart of the village, skilifts and pistes, although a skibus shuttle stops regularly 100m away. In normal snow conditions, you can ski to the door at the end of the day.

The Hotel – Col Alto is a vibrant place to stay, a mix of intrepid chic and modern alpine. From a design perspective, there’s something a little daring about it, as if it is breaking free from a traditional comfort zone. Naturally, its luxury levels and facilities harmonise with 4* expectations, whether you are relaxing in your room, the spa or one of its bars. Buon Appetito! – You will certainly enjoy eating here and, like all our hotels, the food is impressive. Breakfast options are robust and a 4 course dinner awaits you each evening. Expect fresh, locally-sourced cuisine, whether the recipes be Tyrolean, Mediterranean, international or indeed, traditional Ladin. The salad and dessert buffets are abundant and delicious additions.
