Wonderful week walking in Tuscany. First the accommodation. Having been to Andalucia last May, this was heaven! Unbelievably thoughtful hosts in a delightful simple, quiet house, with exceptional food, not flashy or haute cuisine, but local and always interesting.rnrnWalking was gentle but always interesting, and the other walkers were delightful company. The Italian towns were utterly charming – I love the idea of walking to lunch.

The tour was excellent, from start to finish. The logistics, from arrival transport, luggage transport, and taxi pick-up, was efficient and well-organized. Javier, the on-the-ground guide, provided wonderful walking cards and a very thorough briefing to get us started on our self-guided walking tour.rnrnThe accommodations were all unique and very nice. They were local places that we would have not been able to find ourselves! The provided lunches were good and more than sufficient. The provided dinners (3 in all) were also good, although we much preferred to go out and find our own bars and pintxos!rnrnThe walking itself was beautiful and hilly. Most of the walking is along the coast and is stunning. The alternative paths provided a nice amount of challenge and were absolutely worth it for the views.

I think your formula is ideal for the older, more experienced walker. Aallowing for the odd day off as well as a mix of easy/medium/hard grades. I will book again next year, having done Tuscany already this Spring.

This is my second visit to Collett’s in Italy. First time with the missis, second with my mate, both times I’ve had a great time. The staff are always helpful, there is a joint interest with all the customers so there’s very much a family type atmosphere, the food and accommodation has been great and the office hour is great for hints and tips, routes and generally swapping ideas and experiences. I’d happily recommend Collett’s to anyone wanting an outdoor walking holiday. 10/10

We have had several previous holidays with Collett’s. Collett’s provides an excellent combination of flexibility, great locations, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff and a good range of accommodation including self-catering. Office hour always entertaining. Other guests tend to be like minded people and this time it was great to have other families with teenage children. Ehrwald was a beautiful village and there was the opportunity to go cycling, swimming and do klettersteig as well as walking.rnrnOffice Hour – Always an enjoyable and sociable occasion. The room in Hotel Sonnenspitze was very well appointed and welcoming. The Collett’s staff were outstanding – personable, knowledgeable and helpful.rnrnfor us, the availability of self-catering accommodation is a real plus. Our teenage girls enjoyed the office hour and the social nature of the walks. The hut-to-hut walks were well thought out and both the routes and the huts were interesting and varied.

Staff were super helpful and responsive to all our questions before the trip. The quality of that initial service was definitely why we chose to go with your company. I’ve always had excellent holidays with Collett’s. Once again they they lived up to their reputation. Excellent service from start to end.

We joined a hiking group in Victoria, BC, Canada early in 2019. Twice heard folks on the trail talking about Collett’s in very positive terms. The second time the people were talking about how they were going to the Dolomites walking with Collett’s. The style of the tour, with the choice of grade each day with office hours to talk about the routes really appealed to us.rnrnWe had an absolutely fabulous time. The accommodation, the food and our hikes were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the friendship and attitude of the staff. They were so helpful! And of course, we were awestruck with the scenery. Will definitely come on another Collett’s holiday as soon as we can. Probably a hut to hut this time.

My husband and I have returned from yet another fantastic holiday with Collett’s. Outstanding location in Erhwald Austria. Colett’s staff team were excellent in their local knowledge of walks and various other pursuits as well as ensuring all guests expectations were met. A fantastic team thank you Kate Ben Anna and Andy for the challenges laughs and stories. A massive thank you to the team at the Sonnenspitze Hotel who provided a first class service. We will be returning to Collett’s next year.

I wholeheartedly recommend this trip. The walks were varied u0026amp; were challenging without being overwhelming. The scenery was breathtaking. Hotel Sabacos was comfortable u0026amp; friendly u0026amp; the evening meals were excellent, often local specialities u0026amp; all made from scratch.

The level of information provide before booking was outstanding and it was clear that the company really knew what it was doing. As the only vegetarian staying at the Chalet I was very well catered for by the chefs who provided some lovely vegetarian alternatives for me.rnrnI will be returning for another holiday

My daughter and I had a great time. The scenery and wildflowers were wonderful. Length and difficulty of the hikes was just right. Having found you via a recommendation I am in turn recommending to everyone I know!

This was our second holiday with Collett’s to Corvara. This time there were 3 generations of our family. The booking system was easy and we sought advice from your office in helping to decide what accommodation would suit us best. The youngest at 8 and 3 enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the chalet.
