Flights
Arabba is best served by Venice Marco Polo (3hrs).

Travel
Our Scheduled Coach Transfers operate every Saturday between Venice Marco Polo and Arabba as follows:
Departs Venice Marco Polo – at 14:00 prompt
Departs Arabba – at 07:00 prompt – for homebound flights taking off after 12:00
Journey Time – 3hrs.
Ski Carriage – must be pre-booked at £15 return per set.

Private Transfers - Anytime, Anywhere
If our scheduled coach transfers do not fit your travel plans – or it is easier for you to fly to another regional airport such as Treviso, Innsbruck, Verona, (all 3hrs), Trieste or Milan (both 4hrs) we can organise private taxi transfers for you. This can work particularly well for groups as the more passengers there are, the lower the cost per person. Contact us for bespoke pricing and book early!

Another 27kms of blue and red adventure.
The Green Sellaronda is the big-hitting anti-clockwise version of the Orange Sellaronda, featuring some of our favourite runs in the area and allowing you to clock up at least 30kms of skiing in breathtaking landscapes. Do this on your final day and end your holiday on a real high.

DepartIt’s time to go home. Double-check your travel arrangements and have a safe trip home. If you are booked on the Collett’s scheduled transfer back to Venice Marco Polo Airport, remember it is an early start!

B&B from £850 | Half-board from £1145Chalet Barbara is a luxury B&B with sumptuous bedrooms, delicious breakfasts and a location just above the village nursery slopes.
Overview
Located at the top of the village, 300m from Arabba’s centre, Chalet Barbara is dwarfed by the colossal flanks of the Sella massif. Luxury furnishings and attractively crafted timber create a warm and impressive base oozing Tyrolese character. Elegant bedrooms with decorative balconies and luxury en suites create an indulgent mountain retreat. In good snow conditions, guests can ski ‘off-piste’ to the Burz chairlift. Otherwise, it is a 200m walk for instant access to the Sellaronda. There is a small wellness area on the ground floor of this homely accommodation.

Situated at the top of the village, 10 minutes by foot from the village centre, and a 5-minute walk to the Burz chairlift, providing access to the Sellaronda (both directions), Marmolada and Arabba’s local slopes.

Stunningly located between both of the village’s main lift stations, the Sporthotel Arabba overlooks the village centre, which is 200m away. It is an unrivaled position for skiers with first-class access to the Sellaronda (clockwise and anti-clockwise).

Enjoying a highly attractive location close to all village amenities, the Hotel Malita dominates one corner of Arabba’s central square. It is a 2-minute walk to both of the village’s main lift stations. The hotel itself is unassuming and easy-going, bright and modern, delightfully managed by Luca and his family. The sun terrace and most of the bedroom balconies enjoy awe-inspiring views of the monumental south-eastern flanks of the Sella massif.

With a charming and central location equi-distant from the village’s two main lift stations, the Hotel Malita faces the towering walls of the Sella massif. It is a supreme location with super-quick access to the Sellaronda (clockwise and anti-clockwise).

Immaculately presented bedrooms, most with stunning views from their balconies; fabulous dinners include regional Ladin dishes, a small health spa with sauna and Turkish bath is located in the basement. A welcoming bar doubles up as a charming guest lounge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Arabba is an excellent ski resort for confident intermediates and advanced skiers, offering direct access to the Marmolada glacier and the full Sellaronda circuit. It has some of the best snow reliability in all the Dolomites, fast modern lifts, quieter slopes than neighbouring resorts, and plenty of challenging red and black runs.
The village itself is small, traditional and ideal if you prioritise serious skiing and big ski days over après-ski, but beginners or those wanting a lively evening scene may prefer the nearby ski resort of Corvara.
Yes — Arabba is one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Dolomites. Its high altitude (1,600m in the village) and access to the Marmolada glacier at 3,300m help ensure reliable natural snow throughout the season, particularly from January to March.
In addition, Arabba benefits from excellent snowmaking across the entire ski area, meaning slopes are well maintained even during milder periods. Combined with its northerly-facing terrain and consistently colder temperatures, Arabba is a dependable choice for good skiing conditions throughout the season.
It’s fair to say that Arabba is not ideal for complete beginners, as most of the local terrain consists of red and black runs, with limited gentle nursery slopes. Beginners are usually better based in the nearby ski resort of Corvara, which offers wide, forgiving pistes and excellent ski schools. That said, confident beginners who are progressing well can still enjoy Arabba, especially if they are happy to ski a short distance to easier runs.
Arabba has a modern and efficient lift system, with fast gondolas and chairlifts that minimise queues, even in peak season. The lifts provide quick access to the Sellaronda and neighbouring ski areas, making it easy to plan full-day ski routes without backtracking. Compared to some busier Dolomite resorts, the lifts here feel noticeably less crowded.
Après-ski in Arabba is low-key and relaxed, focusing more on good food and cosy bars than lively partying. Evenings are typically quiet, making it well suited to couples, groups of friends who prioritise skiing, and anyone looking for a peaceful alpine atmosphere. Skiers wanting a more vibrant nightlife may prefer the nearby resort of Corvara.
Our holidays don’t include flights, so you would need to organise these directly. We have guests joining us from all corners of the UK, and further afield too, and airport transfers from/to Venice Marco Polo are included each Saturday.

Need to Knows
Flight Delays – We cannot be responsible for the repercussions of delayed flights or other travel arrangements. If you are delayed, our coach transfer will still depart as scheduled. If you miss the transfer, airport taxis can be booked at your expense, although a car hired from the airport can sometimes be a cheaper option. Hopefully, any expenses caused by such a delay will be covered by your insurance. Remember to ask your driver for a receipt.
Helmets – These are now compulsory, regardless of your age. As of 1 November 2025, a CE-certified helmet must be worn by skiers, snowboarders, sledders and tobogganers. Contravention can result in a €200 fine plus suspension of skipass for up to 3 days.
Insurance – All skiers must, by law, have third-party liability insurance. This is not included in your skipass. Most travel insurance policies include this cover, but it is your responsibility to check that you are adequately covered. If your existing policy does not include it, it is easy to add it from as little as €3/day here.
ETIAS – The European Travel Information and Authorisation System is not due to be introduced until late-2026. Currently there is not an exact date as to when it will come into force. This means you do not need to have a ETIAS for travel to Europe at the moment. For more information read our blog article here
