Our walking holidays in Italy are 25 years in the making... and nobody does it better!
With their explosive shapes and unique colours, the Dolomites are perhaps the world’s most majestic mountains. We have a rich variety of Dolomites walking holidays, and on each one you will find yourself mesmerised at every turn. Whatever your level of fitness, we provide tried and tested routes in unforgettable mountain landscapes.
If you prefer to unpack a suitcase and settle into a charmingly authentic hotel, check out our centre-based walking holidays in the Dolomites. Alternatively, how about a week of hiking in Tuscany, with its rolling hills and exquisite medieval villages? Collett’s was built on the excellence and popularity of its centre-based holidays, most of which feature the support of a dedicated Walks Team, which hosts daily a greatly appreciated (and entirely optional) Collett’s institution called Office Hour, where you can glean helpful tips and advice, whilst swapping stories with other guests over a relaxing pre-dinner drink.
Additionally, our range of hut-to-hut walking holidays will surely captivate higher level adventurers. Here is an opportunity to venture into remote corners of the Dolomites on truly memorable point-to-point walking experiences, staying in mountain lodges, known as ‘rifugios,’ where camaraderie prevails amongst walkers, as they enjoy surprisingly good accommodation, fabulous food, and spellbinding views from panoramic sun terraces.
A winter addition to these Italian walking holidays is a range of skiing and snowshoeing holidays, all of which expose you to some of Europe’s prettiest winter landscapes.
