Venice

If flight times from your preferred UK airport are not too compatible with our airport transfer arrangements. A popular option is to fly in a day or two early and have a short stay in Venice. In winter, Venice is enchanting and less busy (except at Carnival time in February). You can leave any unwanted baggage at Left Luggage at the airport, enjoy Venice and make your way to meet our airport transfer at your leisure. Arriving at St. Mark’s Square on the boat from the airport is one of the most breathtaking ways of entering the city. There is at least one boat every hour. Collett’s can also recommend a few small hotels at the heart of Venice. These include one, two and three star options see below.

Venice in winter is delightful and a short stay here or in Treviso might appeal to you, especially if flight times make it difficult for you to fit in with our airport transfer arrangements. Prices are per double room per night and approximate. If you book through us, we will send your booking confirmation along with directions to the hotel. For this a £10 booking fee will be added to your booking. We will also pursue your second (third etc.) choice hotels, should your first option be unavailable.
