The views from Hotel Melodia are sensational and you can enjoy these from the balconies of its lovely modern, spacious bedrooms. The village is two minutes away on foot and there are several beautiful routes you can do from the door along riverside trails, through woodland and across snow covered meadow.
The ski lift is a five minute walk, but the 'on request' shuttle bus will take you there in under two. Hotel Melodia (and Pedraces Badia) is an ideal destination for people choosing to come here to snowshoe, walk or ski. Spectacularly renovated a few years ago, the hotel combines natural materials and modern concepts for maximum comfort. The bedrooms are stylish, very comfortable and more than spacious with immaculate en suites, a separate WC and balconies with outstanding views.A fire roars in the main bar for most of the winter. In the stylish health spa choose fro the Finnish sauna or Turkish bath and let the whirlpool ease your muscles. There is also a small gym. Impressive panoramic rooms are available for a supplement.
The food here is superb; an extensive breakfast buffet will set you up perfectly for an active day. Dinner is something to look forward to with a mix of Mediterranean cuisine and Tyrolean specialities, including a once weekly gala dinner featuring local specialist dishes. The lounge bar is the perfect place to relax with a drink in the cosy atmosphere in front of the fire.
Our base, Haus Valentin, is a two minute walk along the lane and you can drop in here as and when you please. Indeed guests joining our organised snowshoeing and winter walking days will generally meet here after breakfast, before heading out for the day.
