Discover the UK's finest walking landscapes
Our holidays in the UK are currently comprised of walking breaks in the Yorkshire Dales. During the pandemic, when travel to our European destinations was unpredictable, we set out on a mission to provide opportunities for walking in the Lake District, the Peak District, the Yorkshires Dales, Dartmoor, Snowdonia etc., whilst also getting walkers off the beaten track in places like the Cotswolds, the Shropshire Hills and the South Downs. Once travel resumed, however, we were quick to recover our position as a leading specialist for walking holidays in Europe, answering the call of our many European partners, who by then simply could not wait to welcome us back!
But here in the UK, we have long-standing connections with the Yorkshire Dales. Our fabulous 4-night guided walking break in the Yorkshire Dales is a real winner for walkers. You stay in the luxurious Eastfield Lodge, where your hosts Henry Collett & Penny Knight, will wrap you up in warm Yorkshire hospitality. Penny is your guide and local connoisseur, enthusiastically revealing some of the best hikes in the Yorkshire Dales on each day of the break, ahead of relaxing evenings over sociable dinners with fellow walkers.

Discover the Yorkshire Dales: England’s Premier Walking Destination
From rolling green valleys to dramatic limestone escarpments, our walking holiday in the Yorkshire Dales takes you deep into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, one of Britain’s most cherished landscapes, where centuries of farming tradition have shaped a countryside of outstanding natural beauty.
Walking here means following ancient drovers’ routes and packhorse trails amidst lush green hills, past spectacular waterfalls and along intricate drystone walls. You will most likely encounter grazing sheep and spot red squirrels jumping between trees. The Dales also offer remarkable diversity within a compact area, meaning each day brings a new character and atmosphere underfoot.

Unforgettable walks in the Yorkshire Dales for all abilities

Our base for this walking holiday is the welcoming market town of Leyburn, perched on a hillside with commanding views across the Wensleydale valley. The town offers everything you need between walks: characterful pubs serving excellent local food, independent shops selling regional specialities (Wensleydale cheese features prominently, naturally), and cafés perfect for afternoon tea.
You’ll stay at Eastfield Lodge, where hosts Henry Collett and Penny Knight have created something rather special.
