The staff were very helpful and did not take life too seriously and so retained a level of informality which was much appreciated. As you would expect with so many guests it has to be expected that there were times when they seemed to be somewhat overwhelmed. Nevertheless they coped remarkably well and with great patience and good humour.
They showed great fortitude in the ways in which they looked after any weaker participants of a walk when they found it perhaps harder than they had initially thought. They also also had a good understanding of potential dangers and how to cope if the weather seemed to be turning for the worse.
We had been twice before and had enjoyed. It was also good to walk with other like-minded people. Furthermore it is good occasional luxury of hotel beds and not have to do the preparation of meals and the washing up. We have generally camped
