Family Walking Holiday
The team were fantastic in checking everyone had all the information they needed for the following day, whether it was to go on one of the organised walks or to spent the day doing something independently. They quickly assessed individual abilities and advised people accordingly. They were particularly welcoming towards our 9 year old daughter. The different levels of walking allowed us to go on separate walks according to our abilties whilst getting the most out of the scenery and having memorable experiences. The guest cards which gave us free travel on buses and trains, and discounts on the cable cars was an added bonus we were not expecting. If there was a box to tick higher than outstanding for the performance of the staff we would tick it as they really made a difference and turned what would always have been a good holiday, purely due to the location, into a great holiday. The Zugspize Arena in the Austrian Alps is such an amazing location as you are surrounded by spectacular views encompassing lakes, mountains, forests and waterfalls. You do not have to travel very far to see something breathtaking and beautiful. We have already booked to go back next year! Having chosen Austria as a walking holiday destination we were struggling to find the right place to go. Having come across the Collett's advert in the BBC Good Food magazine we realised we had found exactly what we were looking for.
