Outstanding
The website could have more details about the various villages (Corvara, Badia) and living options. The office staff were very helpful, courteous, appeared anxious for us to have a great experience.
Adam drove us both ways (to Marco Polo) on extremely difficult mountain roads. He was a terrific driver and asked about our needs (e.g., bathroom, food). The trip to/from was thus very pleasant.
Andy oriented us in a concise but informative way. It was a terrific start to the vacation. The rooms were much better than we expected. The food was fantastic - every meal. The staff were cordial, humorous, and enjoyable in every way.
Collett's Flexibility: 4 people in our group, and arriving on different days, from different places. There was a variety of activities, from painting (which I will have to return to experience) to Via Ferrata (for the younger people in the group) to mountain biking - as well as easy, moderate, hard walks. We particularly wanted to go to the Dolomites and Collett's offered flexibility.
Value for money?:
We were most impressed with the staff - friendly, knowledgeable, appeared genuinely interested in us having a terrific time - accommodations, and food. The mountains were spectacular. On top of this, the other people in the chalet were wonderful - we so enjoyed getting to know them on walks and during meals. We also enjoyed Corvara, a small town but with shops to explore.
3 cheers for the staff: Rachel, Becca, Holly, Andy, Josh, Adam, and of course Chris, who was a wonderful manager.
