Our first experience of an organised walking holiday
Hotel Panorama is of an excellent standard compared with other Tyrolian Hotels we've stayed at. Staff are first class, food excellent (although too much at times with the pre-dinner events). The rooms are adequate but not untypical. Our only complaint is Collets should inform customers that the hotel is over a 100 metres in ascent/descent to the town. This is a VERY steep climb and might be a problem for some non-walking guests who are accompanying a partner who is a walker. The staff were more than willing to discuss routes and we found this the best way to plan a walk. This was our first experience of an organised walking holiday. (having previously "done our own thing" in Austria many times) Overall we have very positive feelings about our holiday because we're sure we would not have experienced the variety of locations and types of walks had we been on our own. The WW1 expert was an added bonus as well. Well done for having such a helpful and enthusiastic staff who made our holiday so enjoyable.
