Your stay in the Pyrenees will surely be enhanced by our accompanied walks which we offer six days a week (not Wednesday). Our Walk Organisers organise two stunning walks (one more demanding than the other) five days a week (plus one on Saturdays), in the three spectacular walking areas which are on Panticosa’s doorstep. You can join as many Organised Walks during your stay as you like at no extra cost. Simply drop into Office Hour to discover what walks are on offer and arrange to take part in whatever takes your fancy. Our Organised Walks set off soon after breakfast and we generally return to the village mid/late afternoon.

On a day’s hike with Collett’s in the Pyrenees

Our routes vary from rambles across grassy pastures, to high trails which wend their way through the peaks of the frontier ridge. Old trading, pilgrim and smuggling routes thread the mountain cols, whilst the wonderfully exposed ‘fajas’ of the Ordesa canyon are the ultimate in high level exhilaration. We believe the wilder character of the Pyrenees gives you the opportunity to experience one of Europe’s last great wilderness areas. Throughout June and early July the easier of our two Organised Walks is likely to provide walkers, who are also flower enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the stunning wildflowers that are on display at this time of year.

Finally, Collett’s is used to looking after walking groups and clubs and can help put together memorable holidays. We are happy to offer larger parties a dedicated programme of Organised Walks or, if you prefer, plenty of Ideas & Information from which to walk independently.

We also offer organised walking holidays in the Italian Dolomites and the Picos de Europa.
