In the Picos de Europa, Collett’s is based just outside the vibrant and charming town of Potes. Our base is the Posada El Corcal, a high quality family-run guest house with delightful en suite bedrooms. We have a significant presence in the posada and during your stay you will benefit from both our own hospitality and that of the posada.
Organised walks in the Picos de Europa
Self guided walks in the Picos de EuropaOur unique approach to walking holidays allows you to be as independent and as flexible as you wish. You can join walks organised by us (six days a week and free of charge) or we can provide you with all the information you need to walk independently. Either way, you will be able to enjoy a great range of Walks in the Picos de Europa.
Our hospitality is relaxed and informal, but never at the expense of attention to detail. Ultimately, we take great care of your arrangements right from your initial enquiry through to the end of a memorable holiday.
We believe there are four aspects to a Collett’s holiday, which make us unique:
Organised Walks in the Picos de Europa
Five days a week our Walk Organisers offer two breathtaking walks one more demanding than the other (there is also one walk on Saturdays). You can join these Organised Walks as often as you like at no extra cost.
Self Guided Walks & Walking Independently
If you prefer to do your own thing, our Ideas & Information Files detail many walks and other ways of enjoying the area – scenic drives, places of interest, other activities etc. Also, the intimate local knowledge of our Walk Organisers, which is always at hand.
Arrive & Depart Any Day
Arrive and depart on whatever days suit you. Whilst we can help and advise on travel, you choose how to get here and make your own arrangements.
3★ Hotel or Self Catering Apartments
Choose between staying in the charming 3★ Posada El Corcal on a Half Board or Bed & Breakfast basis. We also have Self Catering in modern apartments which sleep between two and six people.
