The Hotel Melodia del Bosco is one of the most enchanting hotels in the Alta Badia and sits in stunning surroundings in a delightfully tranquil spot just above the attractive village of Pedraces. Like Haus Valentin just along the lane, its views are sensational. The village is two minutes away on foot and it is just a 5 minute stroll to the chairlift, although there are several beautiful walks you can do from the door along riverside trails, through woodland and exquisite alpine pastures. This makes Hotel Melodia (and Pedraces) an ideal destination for people choosing to come here without their own transport.
Spectacularly renovated two years ago, the hotel combines natural materials and modern concepts for maximum comfort. The bedrooms are stylish, very comfortable and more than spacious with immaculate en suites, a separate WC and balconies with outstanding views.
The food here is superb; an extensive breakfast buffet will set you up perfectly for an active day. Dinner is something to look forward to with a mix of Mediterranean cuisine and Tyrolean specialities, including a once weekly gala dinner featuring local specialist dishes. The lounge bar is the perfect place to relax with a drink and it is easy to drift from here through French windows on to the lovely sun terrace.
In the stylish health spa, choose from the Finnish sauna or the steam bath and let the whirlpool ease your muscles. There is also a solarium and a small gym.
Office Hour takes place at Haus Valentin, a two minute walk along the lane. Guests pay a small charge for use of the whirlpool and solarium.
