Graham Hood Photography
We were delighted to welcome Graham Hood to the Italian Dolomites in summer 2009 for a week's travel photography. Graham runs his own business, Graham Hood Photography, based in Perth, Scotland. Graham joined us for 12 days staying in Haus Valentin, Pedraces and Chalet Brigitta, Arabba. Graham joined us on many walks and Via Ferrata on his trip and we're sure you'll agree, the Italian Dolomites are a photographers paradise.
"My business is based in Perth, Scotland and as a passionate photographer I feel inspired by the countryside on my doorstep, but travel has also developed endless photographic opportunities and I particularly enjoy visiting different countries and capturing landscape and candid portraiture meeting ordinary people in their day to day existence.
This summer I visited the Dolomites region of Northern Italy as a guest of Colletts Mountain Holidays and as well as enjoying excellent hospitality and participating in the wide range of walking and climbing opportunities it gave me the chance to sample for myself the wonderful light and the ever changing moods of the landscape. A true photographers paradise and whilst I was only there for 12 days in July - there is so much more to discover - drew great inspiration from the region. I hope my pictures inspire you to get on your walking boots..."
