In the Pyrenees Collett's is based in Panticosa, a charming village set amidst breathtaking scenery high in the Spanish Pyrenees, yet close to the French border. The Valle de Tena and the National Parks that surround us combine to make a paradise for walkers, photographers and wildflower enthusiasts. Anyone with a passion for dramatic mountains and enchanting valleys is sure to be enthralled by this magnificent and unspoilt corner of Europe.

Our unique approach to walking holidays allows you to be as independent and as flexible as you wish. You can join walks organised by us (five days a week and free of charge) or we can provide you with all the information you need to walk independently. Either way, you will be able to walk on both the Spanish and the French side of the Pyrenees.

Our hospitality is relaxed and informal, but never at the expense of attention to detail. Ultimately, we take great care of your arrangements right from your initial enquiry through to the end of a memorable holiday.

We believe there are four aspects to a Collett's holiday, which make us unique:

• Organised Walks

  Five days a week our Walk Organisers offer two breathtaking walks, one more demanding than the other. You can join these Organised Walks as often as you like at no extra cost.

  If you prefer to do your own thing, our Ideas & Information files detail many walks and other ways of enjoying the area - scenic drives, places of interest, other activities etc. and the local knowledge of our Walk Organisers is always at hand.

  Arrive and depart on whatever days suit you. Whilst we can help and advise on travel, you choose how to get here and make your own arrangements.

• 3 Star Hotel or Self Catering Apartments

  Choose between staying in the charming 3* Hotel Sabocos on a Half Board or Bed & Breakfast basis. We also have Self Catering in modern apartments which sleep between two and six people.
