Chalet Verena provides modern and comfortable accommodation with eleven delightful en suite double bedrooms. The views from the chalet and it’s sizeable garden are breathtaking and can absorb you for hours.
The chalet is a stone's throw away from the village centre with its charming cafes and shops, and just yards from a wooden bridge that crosses the river to the extensive flower meadows that gently undulate under the canyon-like walls of the Sella up to the Gardena Pass.
Office Hour is held in the lounge at Chalet Verena each evening (not Wednesday) between 6pm and 7.15pm. Here you can sign up to join our organised walks, Via Ferrata, wildflower walks and painting days. Or, if you prefer to do your own thing, our staff will be happy to offer you advice and suggestions.
We run Chalet Verena ourselves, so you can be sure of the highest levels of hospitality in a home from home atmosphere. Each evening (apart from Wednesday - staff day off) our chalet hosts serve an appetising 3 course dinner with wine. After dinner guests linger around the dining table, enjoying the company of like-minded people, or drift over to the comfortable lounge area to play a game or read a book.
After a day out in the mountains, guests return to relax in a deckchair in the pleasant garden, or perhaps stroll around the village, which is a stone's throw away. If you choose not to go out during the day, then you are welcome to sleep in and spend the day in the chalet. Help yourself to tea and coffee as and when you feel like it - or something stronger from the chalet's casual bar.
